Sometimes Outlook loses its connection to the Microsoft 365 servers, this can be for a variety of reasons but the below should guide you through getting back online with Microsoft 365 Exchange emails in no time.
Often Outlook will ask for the password if your password has changed, has expired or the account requires multi factor authentication.
Upon clicking the “Need password” prompt at the bottom of your Outlook window Outlook should guide you through getting signed back in to your Exchange emails.
If this prompt does not appear, restart Outlook and it almost certainly will then prompt you to fill in your security details, you may require to authenticate again, if this is the case follow the prompts and Outlook will reconnect to your Exchange mailbox.
